I fell in love with the book both for the story and the illustrations. It was an extremely busy time for me, but the energy and warmth of my first conversation with Nick stayed with me and I longed to learn more about what he and Ryan were developing.

What can I say about the work of The Giants?
When I came across the Giants and Smalls book by Nicholas T Smith, it wasn't available in the UK.
The book had been gifted to a friend who told me about how she had received it for her triplets.
I managed to find it on Kindle and read it eagerly.
It was, to all appearances, a children's story, but by the end, I was messaging my friend to question if it was a gift for her.
